Press Release: Hacker in Heels Acquires The Cyber Queens Podcast

Hacker in Heels, the mentorship and coaching community for women in cybersecurity, today announced it acquired the Cyber Queens Podcast, the award-winning weekly live show on women in cybersecurity. The acquisition of the Cyber Queens Podcast brand and its assets supports Hacker in Heels’ mission of securing women into positions of power in the cybersecurity industry, and further strengthens the company’s position as a top resource and advocate for bold, ambitious, unapologetic women in cybersecurity. This acquisition brings the powerhouse networks of both brands under one roof, under the leadership of Hacker in Heels’ Founder and CEO, Stacey Champagne, and Maril Vernon, Co-Founder of Cyber Queens Podcast as Hacker in Heels COO.

“Hacker in Heels is excited for the Cyber Queens Podcast to become the official podcast of our community, as we continue to identify opportunities that benefit our members and the greater cybersecurity industry for women” said Stacey Champagne, Founder and CEO of Hacker in Heels. “Our combined programming, networks, and expertise will support women in cybersecurity to navigate sexism, bias, and gatekeeping systems that exist in the industry today, and create a more effective, inclusive, and secure working culture that benefits all.”

Stacey Champagne has nearly a decade of experience in cybersecurity and launched Hacker in Heels to introduce economically disadvantaged women to a lucrative career, as well as address the prevalent inequalities in the industry. Hacker in Heels is a collective of progressive women focused on meaningful relationships and excellence in their craft. The combined Hacker in Heels-Cyber Queens Podcast experience will give ambitious women in cybersecurity the opportunity to connect, learn new skills together, and share thought leadership content, as well as educate the broader cybersecurity industry on the necessity of women’s work and research.

“The alignment between us was so natural, we’ve been fans and advocates for the work Stacey does at Hacker in Heels for a long time. We are excited to finally combine forces and expand our offerings and capabilities to create an equitable, sustainable company and community that promotes the valuable, essential strengths and skills of women in cybersecurity,” said Maril Vernon, Co-Founder of Cyber Queens Podcast and award-winning ethical hacker.
